Camp Fern is a Christian summer camp that provides life-changing experiences for children and young adults. Our years of experience, rigorous safety protocols, and high-quality staff training allow us to provide a safe environment for your camper. Our camp focuses on developing relationships, trying new activities, building skills, and having fun. Camp Fern strives to enrich our campers' physical, social, emotional, and spiritual lives and does so through our intentional programs and activities. Since 1934, campers and staff have joined us to have a blast, develop community, and live authentically as we embrace our motto, "God first, others second, I am third."

Our Christian atmosphere provides a great foundation for our programs, as we encourage one another to put our faith into practice daily. Camp Fern encourages campers to respect nature, pursue new interests, and develop leadership skills and sportsmanlike conduct. Our goal is to help boys and girls grow in character and self-confidence — all while having fun!

Camp Fern has lost the ability to operate in our previously leased premises at Fern Lake. Camp Fern is still owned and operated by the Rotzler family, and we continue our mission by serving children, young adults, and their families. While we search for our new permanent location for camp, we are hosting programs at alternative locations, not our previous campground.

We are grateful to continue our ministry and look forward to all God has in store for our campers in 2024!

Our next program is day camp hosted in Marshall, Texas from June 10th - June 14th.

This is for children that for the 2023-2024 school season, were in kindergarten through 8th grade.
